�SINESS DISTRICT (B-1)
WHEREAS under Chapter VII , Title IV (Building Regulations) of Ordinance No_
1628 known as the "Code o£ General Ordinances o€ the City of Renton", as amended,
and the maps adopted in coc►junction therewith, the property hereinbelow described
has heretofore been zoned as GENE�2AL SU�3RBAN RESIDENCE DISTRICT (GS-1) , and
WHEREAS a proper petition for change of zone classification of said property
has been filed with the City Clerk on or about Naarch 18, 1966, which petition was
then duly referred to the Planning Commission for investigation, study and public
hearing, and a public hearing having been held thereon on or about April 2�, 1966,
all pursuant to c�otice of hearing duly published and posted as provided by law;
and said matter having been duly considered by the Planning Commission, and said
rezoning request being in conformity with the City's Comprehensive Plans and all
partiea having been heard appearing in support thereof or in opposition thereto,
NOW THEREsFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY T`HE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF TRE CITY OF REI3TON AS

SECTION I: The following described property in the City of Renton is hereby
reaQned to Business District {B-1) ; the City Engineer and the Planning Director
are hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the Zoning Ordinance, as
amended, to evidence said rezoning� to-wit:
That portion of the south half of the northeast quarter of the southeast
quarter of the southwest quarter, and of the north half of the southeast
quarter of the southeast quarter of the southwest quarter lying northwesterly
of Primary State Highway PIo. 2, all in Section 4, Township 23 North, Range 5
East, W.M. , in King County, Washington, EXCEPT that portion lying within the
east 15 feet o€ said south half of northeast quarter of southeast quarter of
the southwest quarter and EXCEPT the South 400 feet thereof.
(Located on Sunset Blvd. E. , north of 22th Ave. N.)
SECTION ZI: This Ordinance shall be in fuZl force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and legal publication. •
