AN ORDINANCE OF T�iE CITY OF REN20N, WASHINGTON, CHANGING THE
ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY GIITHIN THE CITY OF
RENZI�N FROM RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT (R-2) Tb RESIDENTIAL DIS'Tk2iCT (R-3)
WHEREAS under Chapter VII � Title IV <Building Regulations) of Ordinance No.
1628 known as the "Code of Geaera}. Ordinances �f the City of Renton'T, as amended, and
the maps adopted in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbp�ow described kas
heretofore been zoned as RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT (R-2) , and
WHEREAS a proper petition for change of zone classiEicatifln of said property
has been filed with the City Clerk on or about March 18� 1466, which petition was then
duly referred to the Planning Commissioa for investigation, study and pnblic hearing�
and a public hearing having been held thereon on or about April 27 , I966� all pursuant
to notice of hearing duly published and posted as provided by law; and said matter
haviag been duly considered by the Planning Commission, and said rezoning request being
- in conformity with the City's Comprehensive Plans and all parties having been heard
appearing in support thereof or in opposition thereto, NOtaT THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL 4F THE CITY OF RENTi?N AS

FOLLOWS:
- SEC'i`ION I: The f ollowiag described property in the City o€ Renton is hereby
rezoned to Residential District (R-3) ; the City Engineer and the Planning Director are
hereby suthorized and directed to change the maps of the Zoning Ordinance, as amended,
to evidence said rezoning, to-wit:
That portion of B2ock 21, Renton Farm Plat iVo. 5 as follows: Beginning at
a point 64.45 feet s�uth of the N. E. corner of said block; thence west 105
feet; thence south 60 feet; thence east 105 feet; thence north �i; feet to
the point of beginniag. All situate in Renton, King County, Washington.
(Located on North Williams St, between 3rd Ave. and 2nd Ave.)
SECTION II: This Ordinance shali be in full force and effect from and af ter
its passage, approval and legal publication.
