6�1IiERF,��S a proper petition for vacating a e+srtain alley as hereinafter more
particularly described was duly f iled with the City Clerk of the City of Renton on or
. about May 20, 1966, said petition being signed by the owners of more than two—thi.rds
of the property abutting upon said alley sought to be vacated, and
� [�1HEREr�S the City by Resolution No. � 377� and after due investigation did f ix
and determine the 18th day of July, 1966, at the hour of 8:00 P.M. in the Counci2 Cha�Ders
. of the City of Renton, to be the time and place for puhlic hearing thereon, and directed
the Clerk to give notice of said hearing in the manner provided by l.aUJ; and such notice
having been duly given and published and all persons having been heard appearing in
favor of or in opposition thereta; and
GIHEREAS THE Planning Commission having duly considered said petition and said
vacation as hexa.nafter more particularly described, being found to be in the public
interest and f or the public benef it and no injury or damage to any person or properties
will result theref rom, and the City having determined and elected to retain an easement
for utility purposes and to retain the East Half of said alley, 1V0[RT THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAIR�ED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REnj'FON AS

BE AND THE S�ME ISyHEREBY VACATED, subject, however, to a ten (10) foot easement for
utility and other purposes and said easement to be centered on the existing sanitary
set�er line iocated within the portion of elley above vacated.
SDCTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its pessage, approval and legal publication as provic3ed by law.
PASSED BY THE CITY COURTCIL this��ay of July, I966.
