t••Thenever it is practicable .to make use of poles already erected in such streets,
GRAI�TEE shall make use of such poles, provided however, that in any area in the C27Y
which has or shall hereafter by Ordinance be deszgnated as an area in which telephane,
telegraph and electric pawer wires and cables shall be laid under�round, GRAA�TEE
shall not be permitted to erect poles and run or suspend wires, cables, antenna or
other conductors thereon, but shall. likewise lay such wires, cables or conduetors in
underground pipes or conduits, and a21 such �aork to be done at GRArITEE'S sole cost
and expense and under the supervisi.on of the City �ngineer, to whom all plans or designs
shall £irst be submi�ted for approval. ��ny repair work whi.ch requires the disturbance
of any street or which will interfere with the free use of any street by the traveling
public shall not be undertaken tznti2 permisszon and approval of the construction and
manner af doing the wortc is obtained �om the Citp Engineer.
SECTIOI�I II: All other terms and condztians of the aforesaid ORDIAAI��E rIO.
219� shall remain in fu12 force and effect.
SECTTOid III: This Ordinance shall be in full force and ef€ect from and
after its passage, approval and legal publz�ation.
