SEC'TIOPi I: Existing section 7-SOS - NUMBER OF LICENSES ISSU$D - LIMITATION - of
Title VII (FIRE REQTiATIONS) o� O.rdiaance No. 1b28 entitled ".Code of Genera2 Ordinances
of the City of Renton" is hereby amended to read as follows:
7-505 -- as amended
NtIMBER OB LICENSES ISSUED; LIMITATION: No pa,xqon. shail reccive
more than one (1) licence for the �ale of fireworks during any
one (1) calendar year. The maxia�um number of licenaea wl►ich �ay be
iasued pursu�nt to thia Chapter shall not exceed on¢ ('Y) 2iceaae for
each three thousand (3,000) residents. oE the City, acc;ording to the
last official census �x tl�e last estimate of the State Gensus Bo�rd.

In the eyent:' there are more aQplications for licenses thaa the�re art II
licenses available under the terms of Lhie Ord.inance, then the liceeses shall
be granted in the foliowing manner:
(A) Any person, firm or; corporatiqa having been issued a license for the year
prior to the making o£ the application shall be entitled to rer►ew said
license and said renewal applications to be issued to those perrons first
applying therefore who meet all the necessary qualifications and r¢quire-
ments set forth herein. -
(B) Any licenses remaining and available' for issuance shall be �ranted to tho�e
first applying therefore who meet all the necessary quali€iCatiotts and re-
quirements of this.Ordinance.
