ZONiNG CIASSIFICATION OF GERTAIN PROPERTIES WiTHIN THE CI1Y
OF RENTON FROM"GENERAI, CIASSIFIGATION DISTRICT (G)"TO"APART� �
MENT HOUSE AND MUI,TIPLE DWELLING" (R-4)
taHEREAS under Chapter VII, Tit2e IV (Building Regnlationa) of Ordinaace No.1628
known as the "Code of Gener�I Ordinances of the City of Reaton", as smende8, and the
maps in conjunctioa therewith, the properties hereinbeiaw described have heretofore
been zoned as General Classif ication Distri.ct (G); and
WHERFAS a change fior zone classificatioa of seid property has been filed c�ith
the City Clerk on or ebout Februarq 6� 1967, which petition was then duly referred to
the Planning Commission for investigation� study and publi.c hearing and a public hearing
having been held thereon on or about March 1, 1967, and said matter having been duly
considered by the Pianning Commission and said request being in conformity wtth the
City's Comprehensive Plsn and aIl garties heving been heard appearing in support thereof
or i.n opposiLion thereto, NaGI TI�REFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY Z'� P?AYOR AND Ti� CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS
FOLLaI�TS:
SECTION I: The f ol2owing property is hereby rezoned to '•Apartment House �nd
Multiple Dwel2ing" (R-4); the City Engineer and the Planning Director �re hereby
authorized and directed to change the maps of the Zonir�g Ordinance, as amended, to
evidence said rezoning, to-wit:
The east I20' of the south 125' of the north 255' .o€ that portioa
of goven¢�nt lot 16, sectinn 18, township 23 north, range 5 east,
W.M. in King County, tJashington, Iying west of Shattuck Street and
South of the center 2ine of 6th Avenue praduced west;
located on Shattuck Street, between 6th Street and 7th Street;
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in fu21 force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and� legaZ publicatien. I
