ORDINANCE No. 2365
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY O.F RENTON, WASHINGTON, FIXING
THE AMOUNT OF TAX LEVIES NECESSARY TO RAISE THE AMOUNT
OF THE ESTIMATED EXPENDITURES FOR THE YEAR 1968 , LESS
THE ESTIMATED REVENUES FROM SOURCES OTHER THAN TAXATION
FOR THE GENERAL FUNDS AND FOR THE PAYP�IENT OF PRINCIPAL
AND II�TEREST UPON THE GEPIERAL BONDED INDEBTEDNESS OF THE
CITY OF RENTON FOR THE YEAR 1968 .; TO LEVY TH£ ANNUAL AD
' VALOREM TAXES OF THE CITY OF RENTON FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
1968 AND APPROPRIATING SAME TO CERTAIN FUNDS FOR CERTAIN
_ PURPOSES AS HEREINBELOtJ SET FORTH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE NiAYOR AI�iD THE CTTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REP1-
TON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I : The total amount of esti.mated expenditures required for
the City ot Renton for the year 1968 is the sum of $ 8, 5�63,853

lable surplus, is the sum of $ 5,711. 606; therefore the amount necessary
to be raised by taxation is the sum of $ 2,852, 247 and said amount of
tax levy is hereby levied upon real and personal property subject to
taxation in the City of Renton, for the purpose of raising the necessary
revenues for said City for the year 1968 , to-wit:

SECTZQN II : That said tax�:s herein �rovided �or are levied for the
purpos� af raising revenue sufficient t� pay the principal and interest I
upon the general banded indeb�edness of the City of Renton, the General i
Fund, and for carrying on of the different departments of the municipal
gavernment o� the City of Renton for the fiscal year beginning January l,
1968 and ending December 31, 1968 ; and same are hereby levied upon all
the real and personal property within the City of Rentc�n subject to taxa-
tian and as shown by the assessr�lent in the Caunty of Kin�; as finaliy fixed
, by 2aw.
� SECTI4N III : That the taxes collected fram the levies hereby fixed
and made to�ether with the estimated revenues from sources other than

taxa-�ion which constitute the appropriations of the City of Ren�on. for
� the fiseal year 1968 , are h�reby apprapriated as �itemized and elassi.fied
in the Annua2 Budget for the fiscal year 1968 as adc�pted by Ordinanee
i�o. 236� which Annual Budget is hereby 3.ncorgora�ed herein as if fully
se-� forth.
SECTIOI�3 IVD A certified copy of this Ordinance sha3.l be transmitted
to the King County Commis�ioners and such other governmenta], agencies as
pravided by law.
SECTION V: This Ordinance shall be in full farce and effect from i

and after its passage, appravai and iegal publication.
