FOR FOUrPFAIN AND POQL FOR CIVIC CENTER",

SECTION I: There is hereby estab3ished and created a special fuad to be knawn
as the "Cumulative Reserve Fund for Faunt�in and Pool for Civic Center". The primary '
purpose of said fund is to acceQt danations in money or property for the instal�ation
and construction of a certain fottntain and pool within the Civic Center aite located_
between the MunicipaZ Labrary end the City iiall now under construction and as more
particul.arly appears on that certain drawing and rendering as prepared by Glen H�int
�* Associates, site planni.ng consultants and landscape archi�.ects, dated September
1967� farther reference being hereby had thereto. Said fnnd is created for the
specific purnose of aecepti.ng such donations from priv�te pAr�ies for th� constructi.on,
instellation and maintenance of said fountain and noel as abovedescribed, and such
docl�tians, together with any apprapriation for such Cumulative Reserve Fund by the
City, shal], be allowed to acetu�u3ate from year tp year nntil sufficient donations
have been mede, including any appropriations by ttte C€ty if so det�rmined by its
legisZative body, to pay in full for se id construction and instal lation of said
f ounta in �nd pool.
SECTION II: The monfes in said Fttnd as doneted and bequeathed ua�o the City
shall be expended solely for the purposes herefnstbove speci.f ied and no mdnies ia said
�'u�►d shal.i be expended for any other purpose or purposes other than those specified
herei.n�brnn�e withwat an appraving vote by a majority of theelectors of ths City of
Reaton as provided by 2aw. Any monies in said Fund at the end of any ff�cal year
sha11 not Iapse nor sliaZl the same be a snrQlus availab2e or which may be used for
any other purQose or purposes than those 5pecif ied hereinabov8.
SECTZON III: The terms of this Ordinance shall ret�ain i.a effect umtil such
time as the instaliation and construction of �aid fountain and pool have beeri completed
and eIl casts aa�d expenaes in connection therewith have beer► paid in full by mesns of
donations �nd bequests made into this Fund; thereafter the a�aintenance of sai.d
facilities shall become the responsibility of the City of Rereton and adequate funds
shall be budgeted thereifor,to the extent of �unds be3rig availeble therefor,in the
City•s budget from year to year.
