SBCTIOPi I: There is hereby eatablished an8 created a speciel fund, to operate
as a revolving fund, to be known �s "City of Reaton Urban Arterial Fund". Said fund
is created in pursuance of the requiremeats of RG'�1 38.04 and Chapter 83 of Laws of
1967, Extraordinary Session, providing, amang others, for the improvement of city
streets in urban areas so as to eliminate and alleviate heavy traffic congestion,
and for tne consCruction and improvement of city arteri�2 streets and as otherwise
may be determined by the "Urban Arterial Boerd" as established by sa£d Ch�pter 83.
Sa id f und sha 11 be used f or the af orestated purposes and ao othe r, to rece i�e
funds and cvntributians from and through the Urban Arterial Trust Account for the
construction of such eity arteriel streets, to receive matching funda from the City
as shall be established by regulation naa in force or hereafter recommended by the
Urban Arteria2 Board and subje�Ct to review, reviaian, and final approval of the Stava
Highway Commisaion.
S�CTION II: The City of Renton agrees. in estebli.shing said fund and
accepting matching funds and allocatien from the Urban Arter�.al Board to comply with
the terms and conditians as aet forth in Chapter 83, L�ws of 1967, hxtraordinary
Session; a1Z eosts, matching funda. allocations, reimburaementa, aad ail other
financial contributions relative to any such construction and improvement of city
arterial streets sha21 be handled by and through the revolvi.ng tund herein estab2ished
� and the City Clerk and City Engineer shall at all tiiaes keep snd maintain s�curate
and canplete records for any and a11 of such projeets.
' SECTION III: Thia Ordinance shall be in full force and effect frdn aad
after its Qassage, a�praval snd iegal publication.
