ZONI�'G CIASSIFICATION QF CER7A,ZN PROPERTIES ��TITHIN THE CITY'
OF RENTON FROM GEI�ERAL CIASSIFICATION DISTRICT {t�) TO
MANt1FACTURINV PARK DISTRICT (M P)
WHEREAS under Chapter VII, Title iV (Buildin� Regt�Iations) of Ordinance No.
1628 knawn as the "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton", as amended, and
' the maps adopted in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has
heretofore been zoned as �eneral C2assification Di'strict (G); and
Wi�REAS a proper petition for change of zone clessi.fication of said property
has been f iled with the City Clerk on or about November 2, 1967, which petition was
duly referred to the Planning Commission for investigation. study and public hearing,
and a public hearing having been held thereon on ar about November 22, 1967, and proper
notice of hearing has been duly published and posted as provided by lew; and said
petition having been du2y considered by the Plannirig Commission, and the Pefitioner
having duly amanded said petition at said public hearing, and said rezoning request,
as ac�ended, being in conformity with the City's Comprehensive Plan and all parties
having been heard appesring in support thereof or in opposition thereto. NC1W THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CTTY OF BENTON,
WASHINGTON� AS FOLLGT�7S;
SECTION I: The following described property in the City of Renton is hereby
rezoned to Mannfacturing Park District (MP); the City Engineer and the Planning
Director are hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of .the Zoning Ordinaace,
as amended, to evidence said rezoning, to-wit:
North 272.25 feet of the south 601.10 feet of that portion of
government Lot 7, section 25, township 23 north, Range 4 East� LI.M.,
in King Caunty, Washington, lying west of the Pu�'et Sound Power &
Light Company right of way and east oE West Valley Road, EXCEPT the
east 15 feet thereof for road and lane purposes, and EXCEPT that
portion thereof described as follows:
. Beginning at the northwest corner o€ above described tr$ct;
thence southwesterly along the southeasterly line of said West Valley
Road 60 feet; thence southeasterly at right ang2es to said road
line 67 feet; thence northeasterly i23 feet -to a point on tl�e north
line of the above described tract, 88 feet esst of the northwest
corner thereof; thence west 88 feet to the true point of beginning.
Located sa- East of 4lest Valley Highway between S. i74th & 175th Streets.
SECTiON Zi: This Ordinance shall be in fe�ll force and effect from and
