SECTION I: Existing Sec o �
Ordfn�nce No. 1628 entitled "Code of General ardinances qf Lhe City of Renton" is
hereby amendec� to read as follows:
Section 5-1905 as amended; COLOR SCHEME: The City Clerk shall, £n
the interest of protecting the public from being deceived or confused� hsve the
exc2usive control in the granting of permission to use any color scheme, deaign or

monagram by anq taxicab or vehicle for hire. It shell be unlawfu2 to use or change
any color, design, monogram or insfgnia on any taxicab or vehicle f or hire� without
the prior }�rmission and aQproval of the City Qerk. Failare to eamplq with this . ' :
provision shall be grounds for revocation of any vehicle f or-hire license.
3EC'IZON II: Existing Section 5-1931 of Title V (Business Regulations) of
� ardinance P?o. 1628 entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton•' is
hereby aonended to read as follows:

unlawful for any for-hire driver to cruise, drive, or operate a taxicab r�peetedly snd _. .

SECTION III: Existing Sectfon 5•1949 of Title V (Businese R�gulations) of
Ordinance No. 1628 entitled •'Code of General Ordinances of the City of Bentoa" is
hereby repesled; � sny Qrd all ordinances or parts of ordinances in confliet with
said Chapter 19 of TiLle Y (Susiness Regulations} of the aforesaid Ordinaace are
hereby Iikect�ise repealed.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after ',
its passage, approval and 2ega1 publication. i
