ENTITLED "CODE OF GERTERAL ORDII�NCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON"
REIATING TO PARKING IN MUNICIPAL Pe�RKING LOT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAY�R AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF Tf� CITY OF RENTON�

as foliows:

or street marking Iines as indicated for para�llel or diagonal parking� and if there is e
parking meter,� immediately deposit the required coin. '
Said parking space may then be used by such vehicle d.qring the legal parking ifmit
nrovided by the laws of the City and as posted at or near the parking spece so provide8,
artd said vehicle sha21 be conaidered �s unlawfully parked if it remains at sa�d space
beyond the legal parking limit and/or when saiil perking meter displays a signsl showing
such illegal parking. � �
It shall be unlawful for any persoa to cause or permit any vehicle registered in his name
to be un2ew€u12,y parked as se't out in ttiis Section.
Any person charged with an offense under this Section may post bail with the Traffic
Violations Bureau of tfie P�plice Court of the City of Renton in the sum of two dollars
($2.00) if so posted within seven (7) days from the date of sach notice pr in the sum
, , o€ five dollars ($5.00) if so posted after the seventh day and before the thirtieth
day frflm the cIate of such notice and such beil may then be forfeited or trial may be
requested as authorized by law.
Any persan who neg2ects to answer to the charges set forth in such notiee or to poat' bai2
therefor as hereinabove provided sha21 be guilty of a v�olation of this Section regardless
of- the charges for wh�.ch the notice was original].y issued and shall upon eonviction thereof
be f ined in a sum not exceedfng one hundred dollars ($100.00).
No �erson shall stap, stand, park or angle park a vehicle, except when neces�arq�to avoid
coilf 1 ict with ��ther traff ic or in compl.iance with the d irections af a peace off icer or
traffie eontrol device, within ten faet of any fire hydrant or to in any way park, b2ock
' or interfere with access to such f ire hydrant. Any person wha violates Lhe proviaionB
of this paragxeph shall be guilty of a misde�anor and, upon conviction thereof, be fined
in e sum not ].ess tha� five dollars ($5.00) nor more than twenty five dollars ($25.00).
Ali parking of vehicles in City of Renton Municipal Parking Lot No. 3 being located on
portions o€ I,ots l., 2 and 3 of Biock 15, Town of Renton, is hereby�2 i.mited to a period
of two hours only between the houra of $ a.m, and 6 Q.m. daily except Saturdays, Sundays
and hol£days. The ct�a rge g{�r.such pa rking she 11 be a t the ra te of $ . G� pe r hour
or as otherwise s�ecified on the parking meter. ,
