AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, G7ASHINGTON, CHANGING THE ZONING I
CLASSIFICATION OF CE2TAiN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTOIV FROIf '
GENRRAL SUBURBA�I DISTRICT (GS-1) TO RESIDENTIAL DIST`RICT (R-2). ',
F•JHBREAS under Chapter VII, Title IV (Building Regulations) of Ordinance No. I
1628 known as the "Code of General Ordi.nances of the City of Renton". as amended, and t��
maps adopted in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbe2ow described has heretofore
been zoned as General Suburban District (GS-1); and
WHEREAS a proper petition for change of zone classif ication of said property
has been filed with the City Clerk on or about February 8, 1968, which petition was duly
� referred to the Pianning Commission for investigation, study and public hearing, and a
, public hearing having been held thereon on or about t�iarch 2�� 1968, which hearing was

duly continued, and said matter having been duly considered by the Planning �ommission
and the Petitioner-Owner having duly amended his petition for rezoning� and said rezoning
request, as amended, being in conforaity with the City's Comprehensive Plan, and all

parties having been heard appearing i.n support thereof or in opposition thereto� NOW,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE t�iAY02 AND THE CITY COUN�IL OF THE CITY OF RENT�N,
WASHING'I'UN, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The following described property in the City of Renton is hereby
rezoned to Residential Districfi (R-2); the City Engineer and the Planning Director are
hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the Zoning Ordi.nance� as amended.,
to evidence said rezoning, to-wit:
Lots 3 aad 4, Block 1, Shepard Heights Addition, according to the plat
� recorded in Vo2. 46 of Plats, page 79 Records of King County, Washington.
