LaHEREAS under Chapter VIZ, Title IV (Building Regulations) of Ordinance No.
i628 known as the "Code of Genc3ral Ordinaaces of the City of Renton", as amended, and the
maps edopted in conjnnetion therewith, the proQerty hereinbelaa deseribed has heretofore
been zoned as General Suburbatt Residence Di.strict (GS-1); and
�•IRBREAS a proper petition for change of zone classitication of said property
has been fi18d with the City Clerk on or about April 16, 1968, which petitioa was duly
referred to the P2anning Commission fer investigation, study and public hearing� 8nd
the City Couneil on its own motion $lso set a date for gublic hearing therefor on or
about May 20, 1468, which heariag was dnly continued, and aaid matter having been duly
aonsidered hq the Planning Commission 8nd ssid rezoning request being in conformity with
the City's Comprehensive Plan, and a12 partiet having bean he�trd appe�tring in support
