AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON,WASHINGTON
AMENDING SECTION 1-2501 OF TITLE I , (ADMINISTRA-
�'IVE) OF ORDINANCE N0. 1628 ENTITLED "CODE OF
GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON" RELATING
TO SICK LEAVE BEPdEFITS .
' BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RENTON, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS :
, SECTION I : Existing Section 1-2501 (A) of Title I , (Administrative)
of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the City

of Renton is hereby amended to read as follows :

Section 1-2501 SICK LEAVE : T e s y

and fixed the following policy and schedule of granting sick
leave to all full time employees of the City of Renton:

' (A) Each full time City employee/after employed shall
be entitled to sick leave , upon completion of the
six months probationary period, at the rate of one
(1) day per month, thus providing for a -�otal annual
sick leave benefit of twelve (12) days after
completio� of one year contlnuous service wlth the
City of Renton; such sick leave may be accummulated
up to a total of 120 days and all of the foregoing
shall be subject to the following conditions and
provisions, to=wit:
� SECTION II : An and all Ordinances or arts of Ordinances in

conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION III : This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after passage, approval and legal publication
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 20th day of January, 1969 .
