AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, i
PROVIDING FOR THE VACATION AND RELOCATION OF A
CERTAIN PORTION OF 12TH PLACE , RENTON HIGHLANDS ,
RENTON, KING COUNTY, WASHINGTON
WHEREAS a proper petition for vacating a certain portion of
street as hereinafter more particularly described was duly filed with ,

the City Clerk on or about November 11, 1968 , which included the re- 'I
location and dedication of a substantially equal portion of street , I
and said petition having been signed by the owners ofi more than two-
thirds of the property abutting upon such portion of street sought to
be vacated and relocated, and
WHEREAS the City Council by Resohltion No. 1598 approved on
January 6 , 1969 , and after due investigation did fix and determine the
3rd day of February, 1969 , at the hour of 8 : 00 P.M. in the City Council
Chambers of the City of Renton to be the time and place for public

in ,tfie manner provided by law and all persons having been heard appearing
in favor of or opposition thereto, and the City Council having duly
determined that such vacation, relocation and dedication of a substantially
equal portion of right-of-way being in the public ' s interest and for the
public benefit and the Planning Commission having duly recommended said
vacation and relocation and no injury or damage to any person or properties
will result therefrom;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF RENTON, AS FOLLOWS : ;
SECTION I : The following described portion of 12th Place I
be and the same is hereby vacated, to-wit:
That portion of 12th Place lying adjacent to Tract 40 ,
46B and 46C of Corrected Plat of Renton Highlands No . 2
described as follows:

is made a part hereof and incorporated herein as if fully set forth;
SUBJECT TO the existing eight ( 8") inch sewer easement in favor o� the
Ci-�y o� Renton which said easement shall be �en feet in width and be
eentered on said exis�ing sewer line ; and FURTHER SUBJECT T0 the
dedi.cation for right-af=way purposes by the abutting owners as �urther
shown on the .attached Exhibit and the impravement �hereof at �he cost
of said abutting owners .
SECTION TI : This. Ordinance shall be in ful3 force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and legal publication as pr.ovided by
law. A certifi.ed copy o£ -�his Ordinance shall be filed with the King
Coun�Gy Auditor' s of�ice and as otherwise pr.ovided by law.
