ORDINANCE N0. �'�` �� � � , AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, VACATING A CERTAIN PORTION OF ETHIER ROAD IN THE CITY OF RENTON, KING COUNTY, WASHINGTON WHEREAS a proper petition for vacating a certain portion of street as hereinafter more particularly described was dul;r filed with the City Clerk on or about May 29, 1969 , and said petition had been signed by the owners of more than two-thirds of the property abutting upon such portion of street sought to be vacated; and WHEREAS the City Council by Resolution No. 1631 approved on June 16 , 1969 , and after due investigation did fix and determine the 21st day of July, 1969 at the hour of 8 : 00 P.M. in the City Council Chambers of the:City of Renton to be the time and place for public hearing thereon; and such hearing having been duly continued to July 28 , 1969 ; and the Clerk having given due notice of such hearing in the manner provided by law and all persons having been heard appearing in favor of or opposition thereto; and WHEREAS the Planning Commision having duly considered said petition and said vacation as hereinafter more particularly des- cribed and same being found to be in the public interest and for the public benefit and no injury or damage to any person or properties will result therefrom, and WHEREAS, the abutting property owners have agreed to dedicate unto the City of Renton a certain portion of Right of Way to be known as Eagle Ridge Drive to be in lieu of the portion sought to be vacated; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, AS FOLLOWS : SECTION I: The following described portion of Ethier Road located betweeri Benson Highway and Eagle Ridge Drive situated in the City of Renton, King County, Washington, all as more particularly described on the attached exhibit labeled Exhibit „�" -is: incorporated herein as though fully set forth. �, ' . ' � _ ._ _ - � ' �I BE AND THE SAME IS HEREBY VACATED, subject to the following terms and easemerits to wit: None SECTION II : This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and legal publication as provided by law. A certified copy of this Ordinance shall be filed with the King County Auditor' s Office and as otherwise provided by law.
