WIi�ItEAS a proper petition fox vaca�ing a certain poxtio� of street as
hereinafter more particularly described was dul� filed with the City C�erk on or abou�
l�tay 2�, 1968, and $aid petition had been signed �y the owa�ers of �ox�e �han two•tt�irds
. of Che property abutting upon such portion of street sought to be vacated; and
WHEREAS the City Conncil by Resole�tion No. 1553 approved on July 1,
1968, and after due investi�ation did fisc and determine the 12th day� of Aug�st, 19b�
at tt�e hour of 8:OQ F.M. in the City Council Chambers of the City of Iteaton to be the
time and p3ace for public hearing thereon; and the Clerk haviag given due notice of
such hearing in the manner provided by law and all persons having been heard appearing
in favor of or opposition thereto and said hearfng having bee� duly coat�nued t�
August 26, 1968, and
WHEREAS the Planning Commission having duly considered said petition and
said vacation as hereinafter m�re particu�arly described and same beiag found to be
in the public interest and for the public benefit and no injury or damage to any
person or properties caill result therefrom, and
FiHERE�S ehe City Council ca�se3 �o have made an appraisal of t�ae �,
property sought to be vac�ted as provided £or in City of Rentoa Ordiaance No. 2349;

the abutting owners thereof, of the total sum of Five Thousand and 00/100
Dollars ($5 ,000 .00) , (which sum does not exceed one--half of the appraised
value of the area so vacated and the City `s interest therein;) and such
vacation to be, further subject �o anc� easement in favor of the City of Renton
for pablic utilities and services , as follows : NONE TO BE REQU�'RED
5ECTION II: This Ordinance sha11 be in fu11 force and effect from
and after its passage , approval and legal publication as provided by 1aw. A
certified copy of this Ordinance sha11 be filed with the King County Auditor 's
office and as otherwise provided by 1aw,
