AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
VACATING A CERTAIN PORT.ION OF SOUTH 123RD STREET
IN THE CITY OF RENTON, KING COUNTY, WASHINGTON
WHEREAS a proper petition tor vacating a certain portion of -
' street hereinafter more parti.cularly described was duly filed with the
City Clerk on or aborY- December 9 , 1969 , and said petition had been
signed by the owners of more than two-�hirds of the property abutting
upon such portion of street sought to be vacated; and
WHEREAS the City Council by Resolution No. 1657 approved on
January 5 , 1970 , and after due investigation did fix and determine
the 2nd day of February, 1970 at the hour of 8 : 00 P.M. in the City
Council Chambers of the City of Renton to be the time and place for
public hearing thereon; and the Clerk having given due notice of such II
hearing in the manner provided by law and all persons having been �'
heard appearing in favor of or opposition thereto, and
WHEREAS the Planning Commission having duly considered said
petition and said vacation as hereinafter more particularly described
and same being found to be in the public interest and for the public
benefit and no injury or damage to any person or properties will
result therefrom, and
WHEREAS the City Council caused to have made an app�sal
of the property sought to be vacated as provided for in City of Renton
Ordinance No . 2349.;
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : The following described portion of South 123rd
Street, to-w.it:
All that portion of So� 123rd Street within the Plat
of Latimer' s Lake Park Addition, as recorded in volume
18 of plats, page 63 , records o� King County, Washington,
lying between the Southerly margin of Northwest 7th
Street (formerly South .122nd Street) and the'=North line
of Lot 3 , Block l, Woody Glen Addition, as recorded in '��
Volume 47 of plats , pages 91 � 92 , records of King County, '
Washington.
