ORDINANCE N0. ����--�
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. �501 PROVIDING FOR
SPECIAL WATER AND 5£WER RATES FOR CERTAIN
RESIDENTS OF THE CITY OF RENTON.
BE IT ORDAINED:` BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : SECTION II of Ordinance No. 2501 passed and approved by
the Mayor and City Council on September 8 , 1969 is hereby amended
to read as follows :
SECTION II of Ordinance No. 250•1• as amended:
Every single person, 65 years of age or older and
every single p�rson totally and permanently disabled ,
residing in a single family dwelling, either as owner
or purchaser, whose income from all sources is $300 . 00
per month or less and $3 ,600 . 00 per annum or less , or in
case �of a marital community both parties , husband and
wife , residing in a single family dwelling, either as
owner or purchaser, and both spouses being 65 years of
age or older, whose income from all sources is $400 . 00
per month or less , and $4 ,800 . 00 per annum or less , shall
pay the following rates for water and sewer services
relating to such single family dwelling in which such
' eligible person or persons permanently reside , to-wit :
a. $1. 00 per month limited to 900 cubic feet
per month; any excess shall be charged as
provided in Section 3-231 of Title III
relating to water rates .
SECTION II : Any and all ordinances �r parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby �repealed. . .
SECTION III : fi��.:�other����e�ms�:an8'.provisions of Ordinance
No. 2501 , except as specifically modified hereinabove , shall remain
in full force and effect.
SECTION IV : This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and legal publication.
