AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
AMENDING SECTION 8-715 of TITLE �:III CHEALTH
AND SANITATION) OF ORDINANCE N0. 1628 ENTITLED
' "CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
RENTON" RELATING TO METRO SEWER CHARGES. �
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : Existing Section 8-715 CD) of Title V:III (Health
and Sanitation) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of General
Ordinances of the City of Renton" is hereby amended to read as
follows :
Section 8-715 (D) In addition to the foregoing charges
specified in this Section, the- following rates shall be charged:
l. A charge of Tr,�ro Dollars and 75/100 ($2 . 75) per month
payable to "Metro" for each single family dwelling unit.
2 . A charge of Two Dollars and 75/100 ($2 . 75 ) per month
payable to "Metro't for each nine hundred cubic feet
C900 cu.ft. ) of water used by apartments , multiple
dwelling units of every type and number, business ,
commercial , industrial and all other users. CC3�.
Every single person, sixty five (65) years of age or older and
every single person totally and permanently disabled, residing
in a single family dwelling, either as owner or purchaser,
whose income from all sources is three hundred dollars ($300 . 00 )
per month or less and three thousand six hundred dollars ($3 ,600 . 00 )
per annum or less , or in case of a marital community both parties ,
husband and wife , .residing in a single family dwelling, either
as owner or purchaser, and both spouses being sixty five (65)
years of age or older, whose income from all sources if four
hundred dollars ($400 . 00 ) per month or less , and four thousand
eight hundred dollars ($4 ,800. 00 ) per annum or less , shall pay
the following rates for water and se�ter services relating to
such single fa�mily dwelling in which such eligible person or
persons permanently reside : �
$1. 00 per month limited to 900 cubic feet per month; �
any excess shall be charged as provided in Section
3-231 of Title III �relating to water rates . COrd.

SECTION II : This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
on arid after January l, 1971 , and after -its passage , approval and
