AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY 0�' RENTON, WASHINGTON
CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION 0�' CERTAIN
PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON FROM
GENERAL SUBUR.L�AN RESIDENCE DISTRICT CGS-1) TO
SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT CR-1? �'�
WHEREAS under Chapter VII , Title IV CBuilding Regulations) I�
of Ordinance No. 1628 known as the "Code of General Ordinances of
the City of Renton" , as amended, and the maps adopted in conjunction I
therewith, the property hereinbelow described has heretofore been
zoned as General Suburban Residence District CGS-1) ; and I
GdHEREAS a proper petition for change of zone classification
of said property has been filed with the City Clerk on or about
February 3 , 1971 , which petition was duly re�erred to the Planning '
Commission for investigation, study and public hearing, and a public
hearing having been held thereon on or about February 24 , 1971, and
said matter having been duly considered by the Planning Commission,
and said zoning request being in conformity with the City' s Comprehensive
Plan, and the City Council having duly considered all matters relevant
thereto, and all parties having been heard appearing in support
thereof or in oppositinn thereto , NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS :
I SECTION I : The following described property in the City of
Renton is hereby rezoned to Single Family Residential District CR-1)
as hereinbelow specified; the City Engineer and the Planning Director
are hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the Zoning
Ordinance ,as amended, to evidence said rezoning, to-wit :
The north 591 feet of the West half of the East half of
the East half of the Northwest quarter of the Northeast
� quarter of Section 9 , Township 23 North, Range 5 East ,
W.M. , in King County , Washington, except the east 20 feet
for alley and except the North 351 feet. i

and N.E. llth Place)

SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in �ull force and
