ORDINANCE N0. ��� AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON AMENDING CHAPTER 11, OF TITLE VI (POLICE REGULATIONS) OF ORDINANCE N0. 1628 ENTTTLED "CODE OF GENERAL QRDINANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON" RELATING TO CURFEW. � THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I: Existing Section 6-1102 of Title VI (Police Regulations) of Ordinance No . 1628 entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton" is hereby amended to read as follows : Section 6-1102 - AGE RESTRICTION: It shall be and it '�, is hereby declared to be unlawful for any person under the age �ierein- i below set forth to congregate, loiter, �_idle; wander, stroll, play or be upon or about any street, highway or public place or any place of bu:siness open or accessible to the general public between the following scheduled dates and hours : A. Between the hours of 9 : 30 P.M. to 5 : 00 A.M. each day,when such person is under eleven (11) years ' df�_�age . B. Between the hours of 11: 00 P.M. to 5 : 00 A.M. each day,when such person is under fourteen (14) years of age SECTION II: Existing Section 6-1103 of Title VI (Police Regulations) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of General I, Ordinances of the City of Renton" is hereby amended to read as follows : � Section 6-1103 as amended - AGE RESTRICTION - UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE : It shall be and it is hereby declared to be unlawful for any person under the age of eighteen ( 18) years to cangregate, loiter, idle, wander, stroll, play or be upon or about any street, highway, public place or any place of business open or accessible to ' the general public as herein defined betweeri the the hours of 1: 00 A::M. to 5 : 00 A.M. each day throughout the calendar year; PROVIDED HOWEVER, tr�at the provisions contained in this Section shall not apply to a minor under the age of eighteen (18) years who is duly -1- , , '. '���'' , +, . . . , � ' II . � ,. accompanied by his parent or guardian or in the case where such minor is engaged in legitimate employment duly approved by hisg�rent or guardian or is on an emergency errand to seek medical or other assistanc.e in case of sudden emergency, accident or sickness, or such minor is on his way to his home or place of abode within thirty ( 30) minutes after the ending or termination of any school sponsored activity including but not limiting it to school supervised athletic events , dances or similar activities . SECTION III .
