AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
CREATING AND ESTABLISHING A "CITY OF RENTON
STREET DEPARTMENT SHOP CONSTRUCTION FUND" AND
APPROPRIATING EXCESS REVENUES TO PROVIDE FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A NEic1 STREET DEPARTMENT SHOP
WHEREAS the City of Renton has heretofore or will receive
certain funds from the Economic Development Administration under
Project No. 07-11-00777 for the construction of a shop building
for the City of Renton Street Department , and
WHEREAS it is necessary and advisable to appropriate such
excess funds into a special fund for the aforementioned purpose; I
NOW THEREFOR�
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I : There is hereby created and established a iPCity
of Renton Street Department Shop Construction Fund" for the purpose
of providing the necessary funds to construct a new shop building
for the Street Department to consist of funds furnished by the
Economic Development Administration (U. S. Department of Commerce)
together with matching funds by the City of Renton.
SECTION II : The Finance Director is hereby authorized to
provide for the following appropriation and transfer, to-wit:
UNTO : Revenue Account 331.40 , Expenditure
Account 303/518 . 00 . 62 $36 ,000 . 00
SECTION III : This Ordinance shall be effective upon its passage,
I approval and �ive days after its publication, unless otherwise provided
for hereinabove.
