AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING CHAPTER 10 , TITLE I (ADMINZSTRATZVE)
OF ORDINANCE N0. 1628 ENTITLED 1zCODE 0�' GENERAL
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON" RELATING TO
BONDS FOR CITY OPFICIALS

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I: Existing Section 1-1001 of Title I (Administrative)
of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the City
of Renton" is hereby amended to read as follows :
Section 1-1001 - FINANCE DIRECTOR - TREASURER. The Finance
Director of the City of Renton shall; prior to or at the time of taking
office , execute a bond in favor of this City in the sum of $20 ,000 . 00 ,
and the Treasurer of the City of Renton shall likewise at, or prior to,
taking office , execute a bond in favor of the City in the sum of
$20 ,000 . 00 , each with good and sufficient surety :�to-�-�i? approved by
the City Council, conditioned for the faithful performance of their
respective duties and that they will faithfully account for and pay
over, upon proper vouchers executed by the proper officers of the
City, and as otherwise required by law , all the monies that may come
into their hands and belonging to the City.
SECTION II: Sections 1-1003 , 1-1005 and 1-1005A of Chapter 10 ,
Title I (Administrative) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of
� General Ordinances of the City of Renton" are hereby repealed in their
entirety.
SECTION III : Any and all ordinances or parts of ordinances in I
conflict herewith are hereby repealed..
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall be effec�ive��ugon its passage ,
approval and five days after its publication, unless otherwise provided
for hereinabove�
