AN ORDINANCE QF THE CITY QF RENTONi WASHINGTON,
CREATSNG AND ESTABLISHING A NEW FUND ENTITLED
" THE DISASTER RELIEF SERVICES FUND" ; APPR4PRIATING
FUNDS THEREFOR FROM EXGESS REVENUE �
WHEREAS �he Gity has heretofore made application ta -�he
DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY SERVICES , State o� Washingtan, far certain
�unds ta provide for, among athers , restoration, debri.s removal , and �
repair of damages due to natural calamities and acts af Gad , and
WHEREAS such application for funds has been duly approved by
said State agency on or abaut June 5 , 1972 , Applicatian Na. OEP- j

328-DR-6 , S�a�e Project No. 606-6-72A, and
WHEREAS it i� advisable and necessary to establish and create
the fund for �he aforestated purposes , NOW THERE�'ORE ,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON , WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOTn1S :
SECTI4N I ; There is hereby established and created a. new fund
to be known and entitled as "THE DTSASTER RELIEF SERVICES FUND" of '
the City of Ren-�on for the purpose o� receiving and disbursing funds
for the payment of necessary expense� incurred in the restaration , '
debris remaval and related improvements , and repair af damages caused
� as afaresaid.

SECTION II : All of said disbur�ements and payment� shall be made
zn full compliance wz-th the rules and regula-ti.ans of the Department
