.AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
AMENDING SECTION 10-1201 OF TITLE X (TRAFFIC) OF
ORDINANCE N0 . 1628 ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY �' REN'�ON" �ATING TO
SPEED LIMITS ON PUGET I�RIVE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON , WASHINGTON, DQ
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : Existing Section 10-1201 - Speed Limits - of
Title X (Traffic) of Ordinance No . 1628 entitled "Code of General
Ordinances of the City of Reriton" is hereby amended as follows :
A. The presently existing subsection 18 of Section 10-1201
�lating to 30 M.P.H. spe�ed limit on portions of Puget Drive S. E.
is hereby repeaied.
SECTION II : There is hereby added a new subsection,
enti.tled subsection 2 , to Section 10-1201 - Speed Limits - of
Title X (Traffic) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of General
Ordinances of the City of Renton" relating to speed limits of
forty miles per hour (40 m.p.h. ) reading as follaws :
Subsection 2 , Section, l0-1201 - Spe�d Limit (40 M.P.H. )
Puget Drive Southeast from Edmonds Avenue Southeast
to Benson Road South. �
SECTION III : Any and all Ordinances or parts of Qrdinances
in confli.ct herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage, approval and five days after i�s --�ublication, unless
otherwise provided �or hereinabove.
