ORDINANCE N0. 2755 I
AN ORpINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
CREATING AND ESTABLISHING A S�ECIAL FUND TO BE
KNOWN AS THE "CUMULATIVE RESERVE FUND FQR PATHS
AND '�RAILS" AND PURPOSES RELAT�D THERETO IN
� PURSUANCE QF CHAPTER 103 2ND E�TRAORDINARY SESSION,
LAWS OF 1972 .
THE..=CITY. COUNCIL 0�' THE CITY OP RENTQN DO ORDAIN AS
�'OLLOWS :
SECTION I: Reference is hereby made to Chapter 103 ,
2nd Extx�aordinary Sessa.on, Laws o.f 1972 , providing for the
planning, accommodati�n , establisrrrient and main,tenance of certain
paths and trails , parti.cular reference being made to the
Amendments to ��iapter�. 4T. 30 RCW.
SECTION II ; There is hereby established and created a
s�ecial fund to be known as the "Cumulative Reserve Fund for
Paths and Trails" and there shall be paid into said fund from
time to time funds receivedfronthe State Highway Department
for the purposes of planning, accommodating , establishing and
maintenance of certain paths and trails a.s set forth in Sections
2 , 3 , 4 and 5 af Chapter 103 , 2nd Extra�rdinary Session, Laws
o� 1972 and same are hereby incorporated herein as if fully set
for�h.
SECTIQN III: Any money placed into said fund should
not be held for more than ten years and shall be expended only
for the purposes required or permitted by Section 2 of said
Amendatory Act hereinabove referred to .
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage , approval and five days after its publication, unless
o he ' e rov' ded for hereinabove.
