ORDINANCE N0. 2�56
, AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
- AMENDING CHAPTER 1 (BUSINESS TAX) OF TITLE V
CBUSINESS REGULATIONS) OF ORDINANCE N0. 1628
ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY
OF RENTON" RELATING TO THE REPEAL OF THE UTILITY
TAX
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : Existing Sections 5-104 (Certain Public Utilities��subject
to tax)
and 5-105 (Utility tax; when due) of Title V (Business Regulations)
of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the City
of Renton" are hereby repealed effective as of December 31, 1972 .
SECTION II : Any and all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed. All remaining Sections of
Chapter l , Title V (Business R.egulations) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled
"Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton" not inconsistent
herewith shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION III : This ordinance shall be effective upon its passage ,
approval and five days after its publication , unless otherwise provided
for hereinabove.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 18 ��' day of December, 1972 .
