ORDINANCE N0. 2766 �
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
AMENDING SECTION 10-1201 OF TITLE X CTRAFFIC) OF
ORDINANCE N0. 1628 ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON" RELATING TO
SPEED LIMIT ON PORTION OF ln�EST VALLEY HIGHWAY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : Existing Section 10-1201 - Speed Limits - of
Title X (Traffic) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of General
Ordinances of the City of Renton" is hereby amended as folloras :
The speed limit on the following designated streets is hereby
established to be fifty miles per hour (50 MPH) :
l. That portion of West Valley Highway (S.R. 181) from
S.W. 43rd St. to a point 0 . 55 miles to the north of
S. W. 43rd St , located within the City Limits of Renton.
SECTION II : All other terms and provisions of Section 10-1201
shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION III : This Ordinance shall be effective upon its passage ,
appro�al and five days after its publication, unless otherwise
provided for hereinabove.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 13thday of Feb�r_uary, 1973 .
