ORDINANCE N0 . 2791
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON , WASHINGTON,
AMENDING CHAPTER 10 of TITLE V CBUSINESS REGULATIONS)
OF ORDINANCE N0. 1628 ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON" RELATING TO
LICENSING AMUSEMENT DEVTCES.

THE CTTY COUNCI:L OF THE CI�TY OF RENTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLO�S :
SECTION I : Exi.sting Section 5-1003 of Title V (Bus�ness
Regulations) of . Ordinance No . 1628 ent�tled "Code of General
Ordinances of the City of Ren�on" is, hereby amended to read as
follows :

Section 5-1003/- A��LT.CATTON FOR LICENSE : Application
for such license sha11 be made to tfie C�t� Clerk , or such per�on
as may be designated by the C�ty Clerk., in such form and contain�ng
such. �nformat�on as the Cit� Clerk may require and on foz�m.s to be
�urni.shed by th,e C�ty unto fihe a��li,cant . Upon rece�pt of a completed
ap�licati_on form as set forth in S.ubsect%on 5-1006 , the City Clerk
shall cause to be made an investi,gation as to a11 matter� contained
in sai,d appli,cati,on and i,nci.dental thereto and as furthex s�ecified
in Section 5-1006 0�' thi.s Ord�na,nce .
Ca) Upon the completi,on of such i.nvesti.gati,on and
the City Clex�k.'s determination that all matters contained i,n the
a��li,cati.on are true and coa^rect th.en thereupon the City Clexk shall
i.ssue such. li.cense applied for in accordance with the provi.sions of
th.is. Chapter, provided h.owever th.at the applicable licens,e fees shall
, first be pai,d to the Director of Finance .
Cb) A separate license shall be required for each
and every such_ 'tAmusement D�,vice." as he.reinabove. defined and each
license shall entitle the holder thereof to have, ma�n.tain and ope.x�ate.

be described in the ap�licati,on and license, and not elsewhere . Said
license shall not be transferable from on.e person or corpora,�ion �to
another or from one location to another .
