CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON II,
ORDINANCE N0. 2819 I
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
CREATING AND ESTABLISHING A SPECIAL FUND, TO BE
KNOWN AS THE "CENTRAL STORES REVOLVING FUND" TO
BE USED AS A REVOLVING FUND FOR THE PURCHASE OF
OFFICE SUPPLIES , MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT ; DESIGNATING
THE"DIRECTOR OF FINANCE" AS THE OFFICIAL IN CHARGE
OF ADMINISTERING SAID FUND
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : There is hereby established and created a special
revolving fund to be known as "CENTRAL STORES REVOLVING FUND" A/C 502 ,
for the purpose of p�hasing and acquiring office supplies , material I
and equipment of every type and nature. The City Council may determine
from time to time what funds shall be placed and kept in said revolving
fund.
SECTION II : Any such office supplies , material and equipment
shall be purchased and acquired for the use of the various offices�`j
and departments of the City , and .said office and department shall be
appropriately charged and billed periodically, but at least quarterly.
All proceeds or payments received therefor shall be placed into said
fund and all disbursements for purchase�,: shall likewise be made
from monies available in said fund.
SECTION III : The City' s "Director of Finance" is hereby
designated to administer the operations of said fund , and said
Director or her duly authorized representative , shall determine the
terms and means of acquisition of any such supplies , material and
equipment , the terms of payment therefor , and all other matters in
connection therewith . as rovi.ded by law.

Any and all monies in said fund shall be retained therein ,
from year to year as long as the City Council desires to do so.
Any monies in said revolving fund which may not be needed
in the future as determined by the City Council , may be transferred

� by action of the City Council unto the General Fund of the City.
However, in the event that such fund is at any time disaolved or
fully liquidated for any reason as determined by the Council, then
the remaining assets , after payment of all outstanding liabilities ,
shall be returned, prorata, to whatever department or office of the
City that had contributed to or paid in to said fund while same
was operative .
SECTION IV; Any and all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conf lict herewi.th are hereby repealed.
SECTTON V : This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
�assage, approval and five days after its publi.cation , unless
othe.rwise provided for hereinabove .
