AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
AMENDING CHAPTER 5 OF TITLE I (ADMINISTRATIVE)
OF ORDINANCE N0. 1628 ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON" RELATING TO
THE TIME AND PLACE OF REGULAR, SPECIAL AND
"COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE" COUNCIL MEETINGS �
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : Section 1-503 of Title I (Administrative) of Ordira.nce
No. 1628 entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton" is
hereby amended to read as follows :
Section 1-503 ,�.s amended - TIME AND PLACE OF MEETINGS :
The City Council shall hold. its regular meetings on �he first four
Mondays of each month , commencing at the hour of 8 : 00 o 'clock P.M.
in the City Council Chambers of the City Hall , or at such other place
or places that the City Council may determine from time to time.
Special or "Committee of the Whole" meetings of the City
Council shall be held on the first Thursday of each month at the
hour of 8 : 00 o 'clock P.M. in the City Council Chambers of the City
Hall unless otherwise indicated by the City Council , EXCEPT that
such meetings shall not be held during the months of January , July '
and November.
Additional special meetings may be called by the Mayor or
a majority of the City Council members by written no-tice delivered to
each member of the Council at least twenty four (24) hours before the
time specified for the proposed meeting, and as otherwise provided
by Chapter 250 , Laws of 1971 , First Ex. Sess . COpen Public Meeting Act
of 1971) and further subject to the provisions of RCW 35A. 12 . 110 .

SECTION II: Any and all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION III : This Ordinance shall be effective upon its passage,
approval and five days after its publication , unless otherwise provided
for hereinabove.
