ORDINANCE N0. 2s41
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, PROVIDING FOR APPROPRIATION
OF FUNDS
WHEREAS the City of Renton, Washington has heretc�ore received
certain excess revenues in excess of estimated revenues for the
calendar year 1974 , constituting proceeds from the sale of surplus
traffic equipment , and
and
WHEREAS it is necessary�advisaY�le to appropriate and transfer
from such excess revenue into the belowmentioned fund for the purpose
of purchase-.of ::t�he materials necessary to remodel the City shop area
to provide for the storage of traffic materials not�t stored in the
Highlands Administration Building, and such appropriation being
necessary and in the public interest and for the public benefit, �
NOW THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : The Finance Director is hereby authorized and
directed to provide for the following appropriation and transfer:
FROM: Excess Revenue, City Street Ftmd $1 ,7 0 0 . 0 0
UNTO : Street Fund, Traffic Engineeri.ng 104/542.90.3� $1 ,7 0 0 . 0 0
SECTION II : This Ordinance shall be effective upon its passage ,
approval and five days after its publication, unless otherwise provided
for hereinabove.
