ORDINANCE N0 . 2844
AN QRDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON FIX�NG.
AND ESTABLISHING AN APPLICATION FEE FOR PROCESSING
OPEN SPACE, AGRICULTURAL AND TIMBER LANAS DESIGNATION;
CURRENT USE ASSESSMENT; PROVIDING FOR REFUND OP FEES,
IN PURSUANCE OF CHAPTER 84.34 RCW (OPEN SPACE TAXATION
ACT) .
�THE_;CITY,;COUNCIli; OF', `T;HE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION I : There is hereby fixed and established an
application fee in the sum of $30 . 00 for processing any application by
any owner in pursuance of Chapter 84 . 34 RCW, (Qpen Space , Agricultural
and Timber Lands - Current Use Assessment) which fee is payable to
the City of Renton upon filing of the apTlication by any such owner and
said fee shall be delivered by the King County Assessor to the City of
Renton upon referral of any such applicati,on to the legislative body of
the City . Such fee shall be deposited in'. the general fund of the City
of Renton.
If any such appli.cation is not approved by the City of Renton,
said application fee shall be refunded by the City Treasurer unto the
applicant-owner ,
SECTION II : The City further adopts , by reference herein
the "Open Space Taxation Act Rules" as promulgated by the Department
of Revenue, State of Washington, on the date of October 23 , 1970 , or
as same may be amended from time to time .
SECTZON III : Ordi,nance No . 2598 or any other Ordinance or
parts of Ordinances �n conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage, approval and five days after its publication, unless otherwise
provided for herein.
