AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHII3GTON,
CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN
PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON FROM GENERAL
CLASSIFICATION CG) TO MANUFACTURING PARK DISTRICT CM-P)
WHEREAS under Chapter VII, Title IV (Building Regulations)
of Ordinance No. 1628 known as the "Code of General Ordinances of
the City of Renton", as amended, and the maps and reports adopted in
' conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has ha�l
heretofore been zoned as General Classification (G) ; and
WHEREL�S a proper petition for change of zone classification of
said property has been filed with the City Clerk on or about May 31 ,
1974 which petition was duly referred to the Planning Commission
for investigation, study and public hearing, and a public hearing
having been held thereon on or about June 26 , 1974 , and said
matter having been duly considered by the Planning Commission and
said zoning request being in conformity with the City' s Comprehensive
Plan, as amended, and the City Council having duly considered all
matters relevant thereto, and all parties having been heard appearing
in support thereof or in opposition thereto, ��
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RENTON, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I: The following described property in the City of Renton
, is hereby rezoned to Manufacturing Park District (M-P)
as hereinbelow specified; the Public Works Director and the Planning
Director are hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the �
Zoning Ordinance, as amended, to evidence said rezoning, to-wit�
That portion of Government Lot 2 , and the Northeast 1/4 of the
Northwest 1/4 of Section 36 , T. 23 N. , Range 4 East , W.M. , lying
Easterly of West Valley Road and Westerly of the Puget Sound
Electric Railways former right of way, and lying northerly of
a line which is 756 feet north of , measured at right angles
thereof , and parallel to the north line of South 180th Street ;
situated in the City of Renton, County of King , State of
[nlashington, LESS portion taken by State of Washington Department
of Highways for road widening purposes .
(located on West Valley Hwy bet. N. of SW 43rd and South of
