ORDINANCE NOe 2882
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON , WASHINGTON ,
REPEALING CHAPTER 2;� OF TITLE I ( ADMINISTRATIVE )
OF ORDINANCE NO. 1628 ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL
ORDIId.ANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON" RELATING TO
THE POSITION OF PARKING METER CHECKER
WHEREAS the City had heretofore established by Ordinance No.
2128 under date of December 21, 1964 , which said Ordinance was
subsequently amended, the appointive positi�on of "parking meter
checker" , and
� WHEREAS the duties and responsibilities set forth in said
Ordinance , as amended, have been changed substantially upon removal
� of parking meters within the City ' s public right-of-ways and the
, City having heretofore determined that such position and assigned
duties no longer exist as set forth in the aforementioned Ordinance ,
NOW THEREFORE

SECTION I : The above recitals and findings are hereby found
to be true and correct in all respects .
SECTION II : Chapter 27 of Title I (Administrative) of Ordinance
No . 1628 entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton"
is hereby repealed in its entirety.
