ORDINANCE N0. 2887
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 2881 FIXING THE ESTIMATED
AMOUNT OF TAX LEVIES NECESSARY TO RAISE THE
AMOUNT OF THE ESTIMATED EXPENDITURES FOR THE
YEAR-; 1975,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS : �
SECTION I : Section I of Ordinance No. 28�1 heretofore passed
and approved under date of October 7 , 1974, is hereby amended to
read as follows :
Section I, as amended, of Ordinance No. 2881 :
Pursuant to the requirements of RCW 84. 52 . a20 the City of
Renton shall annually certify to King County on or before Wednesday
next following the first Monday in October of each year, the amount
of levies to be made in support of the City for the ensuing year in
total and by individual fund. Pursuant thereto it is hereby certified,
based on the revised assessed valuation furnished unto the City by the
King County Assessor' s office, that the estimated amount necessary to
be raised by taxation is the sum of $2 , 339, 323 for the calendar
year 1975 , and said amount of tax levies necessary to be levied upon
the real and personal property subject to taxation in the City of
Renton, for the purpose of raising the necessary revenues for said
City for the calendar year 1975 , to-wit :
TOTAL ASSESSED VALUATION: $ 649, 8,12, 006
Limit 1 - 642, 645 , 7_84
Limit 2 - 7, 166, 222
General levy - all funds $3 . 60 per $1, 000. 00 of true value
Special levy - excess millage - none
SECTION II : Al1 remaining Sections of Ordinance No. 2881 shall
remain in full force and effect .
SECTIOI� III : This Ordinance shall be effective upon its passage,
approval and five days after its publication. .
