AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
AMENDING THE CITY 'S COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN
AND MAPS AND DATA IN CONJUNCTION THEREG7ITH I�
RELATING TO CERTAIN PROPERTIES AS HEREINAFTER
MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN RENTQN , KING
� � COUNZY, Wl�SHINGTON.

-�-0 WHEREAS the Planning Commission and the City Council
..�� of the Ci.ty of Renton have heretofore adopted and filed a
�q "Com.prehensive Land Use Plan" as evidenced by Resolution No.

1240 , and Ordinance No. 2142 and as same have been implemented
and �amended from time to time, together with the adoption of
various codes , reports and records , and
WHEREAS application has heretofore been made by interested
a property owners to amend said Comprehensive Plan as to the properties
here�nbelow described, and
, WHEREAS said property owners have appealed from an
adverse decision of the Planning Commission, after public hearing
thereon, and
WHEREAS the City Council had set� October 21 , 1974
at 8 : 00 P.M. in the City Council Chambers as the time and place
for a public hearing on said appeal and all matters relating
thereto, and all parties appearing in favor or in opposition to
said Petition and amendment to the City�'`s "Comprehensive Land
Use Plan" raving been • dulyl�ard at such public hearing , and
WHEREAS the City Council has duly determined, after
consideration of all of the testimony , petitions and evidence
before it that it is advisable and appropriate to amend and modify i
the City ' s "Comprehensive Land Use Plan" and such amendment being
in :the public interest and for the public benefit, NOW THEREFORE

THE CITY COUNCIL OF T E CITY OF RENTON DO ORDAIN A
FOLLOWS ; !�
SECTION I : The aforestated findings and recitals are I'
hex�eby found to be true and correct in all respects and the prior
____ decision of the Planning Commission is hereby reversed and Petitioners '
application is granted for such amendment. I
N � SECTION II : The City of Renton' s "�omprehensa.ve Land
u7 '�
� Use Plan" and all maps, data and reports in conjunetion therewith

nl . are hereby modified and amended, pursuant to the public hearings
� held in connection therewith, as herei.nabove s�ecified, relating
to the following described properties , to-wit :
I - See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part
hereof as if fully�:set forth herein
(Consisting of 8 . 28 acres , more or less)
and said above described property is hereby designated as Public ,
I Use District (P=1) on said"Com.prehensive Land Use Plan',' and ariy
and all other plans and records pertaining thereto. All structures
and �mprovements withi,n the above described property shall , however,
have the prior approval of the Planning Commission to�ther with
all plans, uses and general specifications relating thereto .
SEC�'ION III : The Public Worl� Director and';the::�Planning
Director ar�- hereby �.autho�iz�d.-�and directed to make� the necessary
changes on said City's "COmprehensive Land Use Plan" and the maps
in conjunction therewith to evidence the aforedescr�bed amendment .
SECTION IV: The City Clerk is further a�thorized and
directed to file this Ordi.nance as provided by law, and a complete I
copy of said document likewise being on file with the office of the
City C1erk,, City of Renton.

SECTION V: This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
pa�sage , approval and five days after its publication, unless
otherwise provided for hereinabove .
