WHEREAS the belowmenti_oned Department and Classification are required to
meet certain obligations and expenditures which were not foreseeable at the
time of the adoption of the 1965 Budget, and
WHEREAS it is in the public interest and for the public benefit to allow
the Water Department to provide for the replacement of additional water mains
in the Renton Highlands, NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The City Clerk and the City Treasurer are hereby authorized
and directed to make the following transfer, to-wit:
FROM: Water Works, Maintenance, Account #7120, #609 Reserve $30,000.00
for Future Water Improvements
UNTO: Water Works, Maintenance, Account #7120, #606, Mach- $30,000.00
inery and Equipment
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 16th day of August, 1965.
