CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
ADOPTING AND ESTABLISHING BY REFERENCE THE "1974
SUPPLEMENT TO THE UNIFORM FIRE CODE"
WHEREAS not less than three C3) printed copies in book form of the
"1974 Supplement to the Uniform Fire Code" as issued by the International
Conference of Building Officials have heretofore been filed and are now
on file with the office if the City Clerk, and
WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to adopt said "1974 Supplement to the
Uniform Fire Code" as hereinabove described, by reference , NOW THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON DO ORDATN AS FOLLO[nTS :
SECTION I : That certain "1974 Supplement to the Uniform Fire Code"
consisting of Articles 1 to 30 , inclusive , together with Appendix, all
of which supplements the 1973 Un��arm Fire Code heretofore adopted,
and of which not less than three (3) printed copies in book form have
been filed in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Renton for use
and examination by the public , is hereby adopted as the "1974 Supplement
to the Uniform Fire Code" by the City of Renton.
SECTION II : The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
duly authenticate and record a copy of the aforespecified "1974 Supplement
to the Uniform Fire Code" , together with any amendments or additions thereto ,
together with an authenticated copy of this Ordinance.

SECTION III : Any and all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict

herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall be effective upon its passage ,
approval and five days after its publication as provided by law.
