� ORDINANCE N0. 2960
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, VACATING
A PORTION OF SOUTHEAST 13th PLACE , A PUBLIC STREET, AS
MORE PARTICULARLY HEREIN DESCRIBED
WHEREAS a proper petition for vacating a portion of Southeast
13th Place , Renton, Washington, was duly filed with the City Clerk on
or about April 4 , 1994 , and said petition having been signed by owners
representing 1000 of the total frontage upon the portion of said
street to be vacated; and
WHEREAS the City Council by Resolution No. 1931 passed and
approved on September 9 , 1974 , and after due investigation, did fix �
and determine the 21st day of October , 1974 at the hour of 8 : 00 P.M.
in the City Council chambers of the City of Renton to be the time
and place for a public hearing thereon, and the City Clerk having
given due notice of such hearing in the manner provided by law, and
all persons having been heard appearing in favor or in opposition
thereto ; and
WHEREAS the Department of Public Works and the Planning Department
of the City of Renton having duly considered said petition for said
vacation, and ha ving found same to be in the public interest and
for the public �enefit , and no injury or damage to any person or
properties will result from such vacation ;
NOW THEREFORE , THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :

SECTION I : The following portion of street , to-wit :
All that portion of S .E . 13th Place , having a width offz=
60 feet , lying easterly of the easterly right-of-way �
margin of Lake Youngs Way S .E. , southwesterly of the
westerly line of Lot 6 , Block 6 , Tiffany Park Division
No. 2 as recorded in Vol. 92 of plats , �age 34 , records
of King County, Wash. , and lying between Lot l , Block l ,
Tiffany Park as recorded in Vol. 72 of plats , page 7 ,
8 and 9 and Lot l , replat of a portion of Block 2 ,
Tiffany Park as recorded in Vol. 74 of plats , page 21 , I
records of King County , Washington

As situated within the NW 1/4 of Sec . 21 Twp 23 N. , Rg 5 EWM I
in the County of King , State of Washington i

which said• sum does not exceed one-half the appraised value of the
area so vacated.
SECTION II : This ordinance sha11 be eff_ective upon its passage,
appraval and five days after i:ts publication.
A certified copy of this ordinance shall be filed with the
Office of Records and Elections , King County, and as otherwise
provided by law.
