'HEREAS it is necessary for the Park Fund to borrow certain funds from
the Cedar River Acquisition Fund, as a loan, in order to provide for further improve-
ments of the Lake Washington Beach Park in connection with certain matching funds
to be received from the Bureau of Outdoor Recreation, United States Department of
the Interior, NOW THEREFORE
BE 1:T RESOLVED BY THE .•AYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
1.7ASHINGTON, AS FOLLOF'IS:
SECTION I: The City Clerk and the City Treasurer are hereby authorized
and directed to provide for a transfer of the following funds, to-wit:
FROi:: Cedar River Acquisition Fund $55,000.00
UNTO: Park Fund $55,000.00
and the aforesaid transfer shall be and constitute a loan bearing interest at the
rate of 3% per annum, and such loan to be repaid not later than December 31 , 1968.
