HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 1433 R�90LUTION No. ��J�./� t,1HEREAS a petition has been filed with the City Clerlt of the City of Renton on or about March 20, 1967, petitioning for the vacation of a certain portion of an alley� as hereinafter more particularly described, and said petition having been signed by the ownere of more than two-thirds of the property abutting upon said �rtion of alley sought to be vacated, same being described as follow8, ta..wit: That portion of the alley running North and South betw�een Lots 6, 7 and 8, Biock 1� Motor Line Additicn ta Senton on the East and� Lot 5, Block 1, Smither's Sixth Additioa to Renton on the West. 1VDW TNERSFORE SE IT RSSOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THC� CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF R�I10N AS FOLIAWS: SECTION I: That the 24tt► day of April� 1967 at the hour of 8�00 P.M. at the City Counc il Ct�ambere in the City Hall of Renton, Washington� be and ia hereby fixed as the time and place when the aforesaid petition Por vacating the aforesaid portion of alley shall be heard and determined. SECTION II: The City CZerk is hereby authorized and directed to give notice of said time and hearing as provided by law; and any and all persons interested therein or objecting to said vaca tion may then a ppear and be heard therean, or they ma y file their wtitten objections thereto with the City Clerk prior to or at the time of ttre hearing on said vacation. SBCTION III: Th�e City of Renton reserves the right to retain an essement for utility and other public Qurposes within said right-of.-way sought to be vacated.
