ORDINANCE N0. 29.93 "
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN
PROPERTIES WITHIN .THE CITY OF RENTON FROM
RESIDENCE SINGLE FAMILY DISTRICT (R-1) TO
RESIDENCE DISTRI.CT (R-2)
WHEREAS under Chapter VII, Title .IV (Building Regulations)
of Ordinance. No.. 1628 known as the "Code of Gerieral Ordinances of
the .City. of Renton" , as amended, and the maps and reports adopted
in conjunction therewith., the property hereinbeloTa described has
heretofore been zoned as Residence Single Family Distr.ict .(R-1) ;
and
WHEREAS a proper petition for change of zone classification
of said prope.rty has been filed with_ .the City. Clerk on or about
September 26 , 19_75 , whi.ch petition was duly referred to. the Planning
Commission for investi.gation, .stu:dy and public hearing , and a public
hearing having been he.ld thereon on or about November 26 , 1975„
and said matter having beeri duly considered by. the Planning Commission
and said zoning request being in conformity wi.th. .the City' s. Compre-
hensive. Plan, as amended, and the City Council having duly consider.ed
all matt.ers relevant ther.eto, and all parties having been heard I
appearing in support ther.eof or in opposition thereto, NOW THEREFORE
BE .IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND. THE CITY. COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RENTON, WASHING.TON, AS FOLLOWS : II
SE CTION� I : The following describ.ed. property in the City I
of Renton is hereby rezoned to Res.idence. Distr.ict .(R=2.) as here'inbelow
specified; the Public Works Director and the Planning Director are
hereby authorized and directed to change. the maps of the Zoning
Ordinance,. as amended, to. eviderice said re�zoning,. to-wit:
Lot 7 , Block 19 ,. Town of Reziton, according
