AN .ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING SECTION 1-802 OF' CHAPTER 8, TITLE I
(ADMINISTRATIVE) OF ORDINANCE NO. 1628 ENTITLED
"CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
RENTON" RELATING TO VACATION FOR CERTAIN CITY
EMPLOYEES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SE"CTION I : Existing Section 1-802 (A) l. of Chapter
8 , Title I (Administrative) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code
of General Ordinances of the City of Re.ntonf1 is hereby amerided to
read as follows :
Section T-802 , as amended, VACATI.OI�S�si ...,;'. : ;
(A) l. Every officer or employee of the .City. of Renton
now or hereafter. employed, except full time members of ,
the Renton Fire Department working a shi.ft different from
az ordinary daily eight (8) hour work shift for which
I
separate provisions are made hereinbelow, shall, upon ;
satisfactory completion of the first six (6) months i
probationary period, receive and be entitled to the I
follow' - �

which above schedule shall commerice to accrue, as to each
such employee, except members of the Police Department,

during calendar year 1972 . As to members of the
- p-olice Department, the commencement of the afore-
mentioned benefits. shall become effective on and
after Januar 1 1972> exce t as to sub-section (e)

hereinabove which shall become effective on and
after January l, 1976 .
SECTION II : All other terms and provisions of Chapter
8 of Title I (Administrative) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code
of General Ordinances of the. City of Reriton" except as expressly,
modified here 'inabove, shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION"III : This Ordinance shall be. effective on and
after January l, 1976, and upon its passage, approval and five days
after its publication.
