AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REN.TON, WASHINGTON,
ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRI.TORY. TO. THE CITY OF RENTON.. "
WHEREAS under. the provisions of RCW 35.13.130, as amerided,
a petition in writing .requesting that .certain territory conti.guous
to the .City of Re.riton, as hereinafter more particularly described,
be annexed to the City of Renton, was duly preserited and filed with
the City Clerk on or abo.ut June 12 , 1975 , and
WHEREAS prior to the filing and circulation of said peti.tion
for annexation to_ the City of Renton, the pet:itioning owners duly
notified the City Council of their intention to_ commence such pro-
ceedings as provided by law, .and as more .particularly specified
in RCW 35.13. 125 and upon publ.ic hearing ther.eon, it having beeri
determined and th.e .pet.itioning owners having .so agreed to assume
the .pre-eXisting bonded indebt.edness of th.e .City. of Renton as same
pertains to. .the: territory petitioned to. be annexed; and to acce_pt
that portion of the CityTs. CompreYiensive. Plan as same .pertains to
the subj.ect territory including _the applicable zoning code relating
thereto, .and
WHEREAS th.e Planning .Dep:artmen:t has duly examined and

verified th.e signatures. on said .pet:i.tion for annexation and determined

the as.sessed valuation of all the_ pro.perties, the same .be'ing in

excess of .75% ;of th.e area to be annexed, in value, as provided by
law and said pet.ition also se.tting forth: .the :legal description of
the property according to governmerit legal s.ubdivision or plat,
and the Planning Commission of. the City of Reriton having duly con-
sidered and recomm�ended the annexing of said. property to the City j'
of Renton; and I'

Chambers , City Hall, Renton, Washington, upon said petition and
notice thereof having been duly giveri as provided by law, and
GIHEREAS pursuant to said notice a .public hearing has
been held at the time and place specified in the aforesaid notice
and the Council having duly consider.ed all matters in connection
with said petition and, further. determined that all legal requiremerits
and procedures of the law a�pl�cable to_ the petition meth.od for
annexation as specified in RCW 35.13. 130 et .seq have been duly
complied with, .
WHEREAS a proper "Notice of Intention" having been filed
with .the King County Boundary Review Board as required by law,
and said Boundary Review Board having duly waived its jurisdiction
thereo:ver as per its letter dated December 31, 19_75
NOW. THERE.FORE, THE CITY COUNCIL 'OF THE CITY. OF RENTON
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION� '�I�:• � The aforesaid findings, rec:itals and deter-
minations are hereby found to be. true and correct in all respects ;
all requiremerits of th.e law in regard to the annexation by petition
method, including. the provisions of RCW: .35.13.125 , 130 , 140 , 150
and Chapter 189 , Session Laws of 196.7 , have. been duly complied with.
It is furth.er. determined that the abovemeriti.oned pet:ition for annexa-
tion to the City of Reriton of the property and. territory hereinbe.low
described be and the same is her.eby approved and granted; the following
described property being conti.guous to the City Limits of the City.
of Re.nton, be. and .the same is her:eby annexed to the City of Renton
and such annex.ati.on to be effective on and after the approval, passage
and publicati.on of this. Ordinance; and on and after said date said
property shall be and constitute a part .of the City of Renton and
, shall be. .subject to all its laws and ordinances theri and thereafter

in force and effect; said property being described as follows :
As per Exhibit "A" att.ached hereto and made a part
hereof as if, fully set forth herein
and the owners-peti.tioners of the aforedescrib.e.d property shall
' assume the pre-existing .bonded indeb.tedness of the City of Reriton
as prescribed in RCW 35.13.125 as it .perta�ins to the above described
property., and said property to be likewise .subject to the Cityts
CompreYiensive Plan and Zoning Code.
SECTI`ON� ':TI : Th'is Ordinance .shall be effective upon its. I
passage, approval and five days after its publication.
A certified copy of this Ordinance shall be filed with
the King County Council, State of Wash'ington, and as otherwise
provided by law.
S�ECTI'.ON� 'I�T�I: • The abo.ve :described annexed property con-
ti:guous to Precinct No. 5 of the City of Reriton shall be and
consti.tute a part of Precinct No. 5 � of said City.
