, AI"IENDING CHAPTER 22 OF TITLE I (ADMIPIISTRATIVE)
OF ORDINANCE Np, 162& ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL
ORDINANCES QF THE CITY OF RENTON" RELATING TO
MUNICIPAL COURT MATTEP�S
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIT4' OF RENTOPd, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAZN
AS FOLLOWS :
SE•CTION �:I: Ex�stin� Section 1-2208 of Ti.tle I (Administrative)
of Ordinance No. 1628 erititled "Code of General Ordinances of the City of
Renton" is hereby amended to read as follows :
Section 1-22fl8, -as amended: PAYi�NT Ok' �TNES BY INSTALLMENT;
ENFORCEMENT THEREOF: Whenever a defendant in ti�e Municipal Court of
the City has been convicted of any offense, a judgment that such
defendant pay a fine may also direct that such fine be pai.d withi;n a
�
limited time or in installments on certain specified dates and that
in default of payment as stipulated in such judgment, such defendant
shall thereupon be jailed until the fine as originally imposed by the
Court' s judgment or the tk�.en rem�.ining tialance of the fine has been
satisfied in full. However unless such direction and stipulation
are provided for in the judgment , all fines shall be payable forthwith
upon entry of such judgment.
Any judgment issued by the Municipal Court providing for the
' payment of a fine on the installment basis shall be in writing and a
copy thereof shall be �urnished unto the defendant who shall acknowledge

disposition of his case as provided by law.
SECTION II: Any an d all ordinances or parts of ordinances
