AMENDS ORDINANCE #2831 Amended yb Ordinance ?v'o. 4254� 4�7 ORDINANCE N0. 3oii Al1 ORDINAPdCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, tJASHINGTON, AMENnING SECTION 6-2204 OI' TITLE VI (POLICE REGULATIONS OF ORDINANCE N0. 1628 ENTITLED "CODE OF GENEP.AL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTOi1" RELATING TO PRIVATELY OWNED ALAP.M SYSTEP�TS. �HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS : SECTION I : Existing Section 6-2204 of Title VI (Po�ice Regulations of Ordinance No. 162II entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton" is hereby amended to read as follows : Section 6-2204 as amended: FALSE ALARM; CHARGES BY CITY, REMOVAL BY POLICE DEPAP.TME�TT: In the event of any response by the Police Departmentt� any such false alarm, the City may levy and collect a minimum charge of ten dollars ($10. 00) and any such charge shall be paid within thirty (30) days by the owner or operator of the premises. The Police nepartment reserves the right to have any intrusion/robbery alarm system installed through the Police Department removed or disconnected in case of non-payment of any false alarm charpeor to cause the removal or disconnection thereof in case of an axcessive number of �alse alarms and after notice from the Police Department that such alarm system appears to be or is defective.
