AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
REPEALING CHAPTER 33 of TITLE V (BUSINESS
REGULATION) OF ORDINANCE N0. 1628 ENTITLED
"CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES CITY OF RENTON”
RELATING TO AMBULANCE SERVICES AND LICENSING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I : Chapter 33 of Title V (Business Regulations) of Ordinance
No. 1628 entitled "Code of General Ordinances City of Renton" , also
known as the "Renton Ordinance Regulating Ambulances" and providing
for the licensing thereof, and imposing license fees , is hereby
repealed in its entirety.
The City Councilof the City of Renton hereby finds that
Chapter 18 . 73 entitled "Emergency Medical Care and Transportation
Services" as enacted by Chapter 208 , 1973 Session Laws , lst Ex Session,
has preempted such regulation and licensing and superseded the
aforestated ordinance.
SECTION II : This Ordinance shall be effective upon its approval ,
passage , and five days after its legal publication.
